Seven leading doctors in Yakutia have received state awards for their outstanding contributions to medicine. The honours were presented by Aisen Nikolaev, the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Each physician was recognised for their dedication and expertise in specialised fields across the region’s top medical institutions. The ceremony highlighted professionals from key healthcare facilities. Alla Anatolyevna Fedorova, a cardiologist at the Clinical Center of Republican Hospital No. 1 – National Medical Center, was among those honoured. Vera Maichana Argunova, head physician and paediatrician at the Cardiac Resuscitation Department of the same hospital’s Pediatric Center, also received recognition.
At Republican Hospital No. 2 – Emergency Medical Center, **Tatyana Semyonovna Arzhakova**, an anesthesiologist-resuscitator, and **Pyotr Valentinovich Markov**, a trauma and orthopaedic surgeon, were celebrated for their critical roles in emergency care. The Yakut Republican Psychoneurological Dispensary saw its deputy chief physician and psychiatrist, **Lena Mikhailovna Terentyeva**, awarded for her work in mental health. Meanwhile, **Zinaida Petrovna Androsova**, a neurologist at the Psychoneurological Department of the Pediatric Center in Republican Hospital No. 1, was acknowledged for her specialised care in paediatric neurology. **Valentina Mikhailovna Konstantinova**, head of the Consultative and Diagnostic Center at Republican Hospital No. 1 – National Medical Center, completed the list of honourees for her leadership in diagnostic services.
The awards reflect the region’s commitment to recognising excellence in healthcare. Each doctor’s work spans critical areas, from paediatric care to emergency surgery and mental health. Their contributions strengthen Yakutia’s medical infrastructure and patient outcomes.
