Medical Workers’ Day was marked with recognition for healthcare professionals across Russia. Lawmakers and activists from United Russia expressed their gratitude to doctors for their dedicated service. The day honours those who work tirelessly to save lives and maintain public health. In Nizhny Novgorod, officials praised local doctors for their contributions. Maxim Rebrov, a deputy of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Legislative Assembly, publicly acknowledged their efforts. Lydia Kalinnikova, the region’s chief geriatrician, was thanked for her role in United Russia’s Senior Generation project and the Emergency Button initiative.
At the Lesnaya Skazka children’s health camp, Yekaterina Yeryomeyeva, a physician, received a certificate of gratitude from United Russia. Meanwhile, volunteer doctors from Privolzhsky Research Medical University conducted a first-aid training session for children. The young participants learned to assess injuries, dial emergency services, and practise CPR on mannequins. United Russia’s People’s Program highlights healthcare as a key priority. Its goals include expanding access to quality medical services, encouraging healthy living, and raising public health awareness. The party reiterated its appreciation for the profession’s essential role in society.
