How One Doctor's Steady Hands Save Lives in Critical Care
Bakytzhan Koibekov is a doctor with a long career in critical care. He has treated hundreds of patients in life-threatening conditions, including heart attacks, strokes, and severe trauma. His work has earned him a reputation for staying calm and decisive under pressure. Koibekov began his medical journey at Karaganda State Medical Academy, where he earned a degree in general medicine. After graduating, he joined the 'Diploma to the Village!' programme and started his career in Bayanaul District, Pavlodar Region.
He later completed a residency in neurology at Semey State Medical University. Over time, he expanded his expertise to include cardiology, anesthesiology, and intensive care. In 2015, he took a position at Mangystau Regional Multispecialty Hospital as a cardiac resuscitation specialist and anesthesiologist.
After gaining experience, he led a district polyclinic for several years. Since 2022, he has been at the helm of the General Resuscitation Center in the hospital, continuing his work in critical care. Koibekov’s broad medical knowledge and steady leadership have made him a key figure in emergency medicine. His ability to handle high-pressure situations has helped save numerous lives throughout his career.
