The Saeed Ahmed Lootah Charitable Foundation held its second Board of Trustees meeting for 2026. Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim chaired the session, which focused on key developments at Dubai Medical University Hospital and Dubai Medical University. The meeting began with a review of progress at Dubai Medical University. The Board examined efforts to strengthen academic and training programmes. They also assessed the hospital’s operational readiness and plans for expanding services and upgrading medical facilities.
Board members toured essential areas, including the AI-powered control room, the elderly care wing, and the VIP wing. A presentation by 'Goodness Courts' representatives explored potential partnerships in community projects.
Engineer Yahya Saeed Ahmed Lootah emphasised the need for robust institutional foundations before any expansion. Lieutenant General Tamim reinforced this view, stressing the importance of a structured approach for the hospital’s future. The Board agreed to advance the Foundation’s ecosystem through governance, operational readiness, talent development, and technology. The session marked a pivotal phase in the development of both the hospital and the university. The Board’s decisions aim to ensure sustainable growth and improved services. Collaboration with external partners remains a priority for future initiatives.
