Neurosurgeon Maksim Kovtun recently travelled from Khabarovsk to Magadan to support local medical teams. He performed urgent operations on two critically injured fighters involved in the special military operation. Kovtun made the journey to Magadan at the request of colleagues needing specialist help. Upon arrival, he conducted surgeries to remove brain aneurysms from the two wounded fighters. The procedures were necessary to stabilise their condition after severe injuries sustained during the operation. The two fighters received life-saving treatment thanks to Kovtun’s intervention. His expertise in neurosurgery provided essential support to Magadan’s medical staff during a critical moment.
