Major healthcare upgrade transforms therapy unit and staff support

The regional health ministry has announced a major upgrade to the therapy unit’s utility systems and interior finishes. The overhaul aims to improve patient care and staff comfort. Vladimir Krushelnitsky, head of the ministry, confirmed the plans as part of broader healthcare improvements. The therapy unit’s layout has been redesigned to enhance patient conditions and add a dedicated lounge area for staff. This project falls under the state programme 'Healthcare Development'. The newly upgraded department will serve over 40,000 residents in the municipality.

Repairs are also planned for departments in 15 medical facilities across the region by the end of the year. Kalininsky District Hospital will see new staff joining in the coming years. Three trained employees are set to start in 2026, with another 14 expected in 2027.

A mentorship system has been introduced to support new recruits. Experienced specialists will guide them through workflows and hospital standards to ensure a smooth transition. The renovations and staffing boosts are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen local healthcare. The upgraded therapy unit will cater to thousands of residents. New employees will receive structured support to integrate effectively into their roles.
