Kamchatka's Workplace Health Initiative Brings Mobile Checkups to Employees

A new health initiative in Kamchatka is bringing medical checkups directly to workplaces. The programme, run by the Kamchatka Regional Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention, offers mobile screenings to detect chronic diseases early. Employees can now access preventive care without leaving their jobs. The scheme targets adults of all ages but sets different screening schedules. Those aged 18 to 39 are advised to have full examinations every three years. In the years between, they receive shorter preventive checkups. For people aged 40 and above, annual full screenings are recommended.

During the visits, medical teams assess key risk factors such as blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose levels. Patients receive a health classification along with tailored advice. Those already managing chronic conditions or at high cardiovascular risk are placed under regular monitoring. Preventive counselling is also available for anyone showing early signs of disease or risk factors. Employers can book a mobile team visit through the MAX messenger app by contacting +7 900 439-84-48. The service aims to make early detection and prevention more accessible for working adults.

The mobile checkups provide a convenient way for employees to track their health. By identifying risks early, the programme helps prevent serious conditions from developing. Regular monitoring and personalised recommendations are part of the ongoing support for those at higher risk.
