Sverdlovsk Region Honors Leaders in Culture, Healthcare and Public Service

Several prominent figures in the Sverdlovsk region have been recognised for their long-standing contributions to culture, healthcare, education, and public service. The awards were conferred by the Russian state in honour of their dedication and achievements in their respective fields. In the arts, actress Irina Yermolova of the Sverdlovsk Academic State Drama Theater received the Order For Merit in Culture and Art. The honour acknowledges her extensive career and significant impact on the cultural sector.

In healthcare, Natalya Zilberberg, deputy director of the Ural Research Institute of Dermatovenereology and Immunopathology, was named Honored Physician of the Russian Federation. Yelena Volokitina and Tatyana Kiseleva, both professors at Ural State Medical University, also received the same title for their years of committed work. Natalya Putilova, head of a department at the Ural Research Institute of Mother and Child Care, was awarded the title Honored Healthcare Worker of the Russian Federation. Yevgeny Yerofeyev, another head of department at the same institute, received the Medal of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland, Second Class, for decades of service.

In academia, Khair Abdulkerimov and Sergei Zholudev, both heads of departments at Ural State Medical University, were recognised for their teaching contributions. Abdulkerimov earned the title Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, while Zholudev was awarded the Medal of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland, Second Class. Anatoly Sushkov, head of a department at the Sverdlovsk Oblast branch of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography, also received the same medal for professional excellence.

Senator Viktor Sheltiy was decorated with the Order of Friendship for his legislative work and long-term public service. The awards highlight the diverse contributions of individuals across different sectors in the Sverdlovsk region. Each recipient was recognised for their professional achievements and years of dedicated service to their fields.
