UMH-Talk debuts with free expert advice on heart health June 17
University Medicine Halle (UMH) is launching a new series of online information evenings called UMH-Talk. The events are free and open to everyone, with no registration required. The first session will focus on heart health and take place on June 17, 2026. The first UMH-Talk, titled Strengthening Heart Health, is scheduled for June 17, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Experts Professor Daniel Sedding and Professor Arash Arya will lead the discussion. They will cover topics such as detecting high blood pressure, managing stress, the role of diet and exercise, and recovery after a heart attack.
The livestream will be available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AyvCgg02ko. Two more sessions are planned for later in the year. On September 24, 2026, the focus will be on back health. On October 15, 2026, the topic will be breast cancer. The series aims to provide accessible health information to the public. All events are free and do not require prior registration. The first talk will offer practical insights into maintaining and improving heart health.
