Minneapolis family battles prolonged flu outbreak with hospitalizations

A severe flu outbreak in Minneapolis has struck the author’s entire family. Both the author and his wife have been unwell for nearly two weeks. Others in the household have also fallen ill, disrupting daily life and work routines. The author has suffered from high fevers of 102 degrees for nine straight days. His wife has battled the flu for twelve days. The sickness spread further, affecting his brother, sister-in-law, and stepmother-in-law.

The author’s mother was hospitalised as a result of the flu. Recovery is slow, and energy levels remain low. This prolonged illness has caused delays in all professional commitments, including work for The Alexandrian. The author is gradually regaining strength but still faces limitations.
