Magadan's New 50-Bed Rehabilitation Centre Opens in July 2023
A new 50-bed rehabilitation centre in Magadan is almost ready to open. The facility forms part of the wider effort to revitalise the Gorokhotskoye Field area. It will offer specialist care for people with disabilities starting in July 2023. The complex includes three connected buildings sharing a technical floor. Inside, major construction is complete, with finishing touches, furniture, and medical equipment now in place.
The centre will provide a range of services. These include medical and social rehabilitation, physiotherapy, thermotherapy, and ergotherapy. Patients will also have access to psychological and educational support. Specialised facilities feature a pool with an adjustable floor for water therapy, alongside modern gyms and rooms for kinesio- and locomotion therapy.
A team of therapists, neurologists, and rehabilitation specialists will work together to support patients. Their goal is to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care tailored to individual needs. The centre is scheduled to begin operations in July 2023. Its opening will add a vital resource for disability support in Magadan. The project also marks a significant step in the ongoing development of the Gorokhotskoye Field area.
