The Wiesbaden guardianship authority is organising a free information evening on Monday, September 29. The event will take place at 6 pm in the town hall, room 22, at Schlossplatz 6. Attendees can learn about managing legal and health matters in emergencies.
The session will cover key legal tools: power of attorney, guardianship orders, and living wills. These arrangements help individuals appoint trusted people to act on their behalf if they become unable to decide for themselves. Without such documents, a court may assign a guardian instead.
Susanne Roßnagel and Jutta Meth will lead the discussion. They will explain how to prepare these documents and answer questions from the audience. The event also highlights the importance of living wills, which ensure medical decisions align with a person's wishes.
