Vyksa's medical hub faces new delays after second design rejection
Plans for a new medical hub in Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod Region, have hit another setback. The revised design failed state expert review for the second time, delaying the project further. Officials have yet to explain the reasons behind the rejection. The latest rejection was announced on April 30, 2026, through the Unified State State Register of Construction (GIS EGRZ). The Nizhny Novgorod Regional State Budgetary Institution State Expert Review Board for Design Documentation conducted the assessment and ruled against the proposal.
The design was created by Stroypromtorg and Platforma. Medsi Vyksa LLC is overseeing construction, with Baltinzhiniring acting as the technical customer. This marks the second failed review, as the original design was also turned down in March 2025. No official explanation for the decision has been provided so far.
The repeated rejection leaves the medical hub’s future uncertain. Without approval, construction cannot proceed as planned. Developers must now revise the design again before resubmitting for review.
