Seoul's Evom AI Secures New Funding to Revolutionize Heart Disease Detection
Evom AI, a Seoul-based medical startup, has secured fresh funding to advance its AI-driven cardiovascular solutions. The company, founded just last year, focuses on early detection, diagnosis, and prevention of heart diseases. This latest investment will help expand its research and development efforts.
Evom AI was established in early 2023 with a mission to improve heart health through artificial intelligence. The startup has already gained support from investors, including Klim Ventures, a Seoul-based early-stage VC firm specialising in medical AI, deep tech, and SaaS. Klim first backed Evom in September 2025 during its seed funding round.
Now, the company has received additional funding through South Korea's **TIPS Deep Tech** programme. Run by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the initiative supports private investment in cutting-edge technology ventures. Evom AI plans to use the funds to build a large-scale multimodal dataset for its AI tools. The new capital will also accelerate the development of AI models designed for early diagnosis and prediction of cardiovascular diseases. While the exact number of startups funded under TIPS Deep Tech in 2025 remains undisclosed, Evom AI's inclusion highlights its growing role in South Korea's health tech sector.
With this funding, Evom AI will push forward its work in AI-powered cardiovascular care. The company aims to create more accurate and accessible tools for detecting heart conditions early. These developments could strengthen preventative healthcare in the region.
