Rheuma-Liga Bad Salzungen celebrates 35 years of community support and resilience
The Rheuma-Liga Bad Salzungen marked its 35th anniversary in October 2023. The celebration brought together over 70 members and guests at the Dorndorf Cultural Center. The organisation continues to support more than 150 people living with rheumatic conditions across the Werratal region and the Rhön.
The event featured a varied programme, including live cultural performances and expert talks on nutrition. A multimedia retrospective showcased the group's history, followed by a raffle with prizes. Local sponsors such as Klinikum Bad Salzungen and VR-Bank Bad Salzungen Schmalkalden e.G. helped fund the occasion.
Renate Baier, who has chaired the organisation for over a decade, led the festivities. The Wartburgkreis Self-Help Contact Office remains available for those seeking further details on the group's activities.
The anniversary highlighted the Rheuma-Liga's long-standing role in the community. With ongoing support from sponsors and volunteers, the group continues to assist people affected by rheumatic diseases. Further information can be obtained through the Wartburgkreis Self-Help Contact Office.
