Passenger Dies Mid-Flight as Emergency Forces Plane to Turn Back

A woman has died during a flight from Aktobe to Almaty after her health suddenly deteriorated. The aircraft was forced to turn back as crew and medically trained passengers attempted to save her.

The emergency unfolded shortly after take-off. The flight commander made the decision to return to Aktobe due to the woman's worsening condition.

On board, three passengers with medical expertise—a doctor, a nurse, and a paramedic—joined the cabin crew in providing urgent first aid. Despite their combined efforts, the woman did not survive.

After landing, an emergency medical team took over but was unable to revive her.

The incident resulted in the flight being diverted back to its departure airport. The woman was declared dead after all attempts to stabilise her failed. Authorities will likely review the circumstances surrounding the medical emergency.
