Pampanga boosts dialysis patient aid with rice and new hospitals
The provincial government has rolled out new support for dialysis patients across Pampanga. Governor Lilia Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis Pineda personally led the distribution of aid in several towns. Each beneficiary received essential supplies to help ease their financial and physical struggles.
Alongside this initiative, the administration continues to expand healthcare infrastructure. New hospital projects are underway in Apalit, Bacolor, San Luis, and Arayat as part of a broader push to improve medical services.
The aid programme targeted dialysis patients in Lubao, Magalang, Mexico, and Apalit. At each location, Governor Pineda and Vice Governor Pineda oversaw the distribution of sacks of rice. The effort aims to address the high costs and daily challenges faced by those undergoing treatment.
Governor Pineda also stressed the importance of preventive care. She hopes that better early healthcare services will lower the number of kidney disease cases in the long term. This approach complements the ongoing hospital projects in key municipalities. The provincial government has been investing heavily in healthcare facilities. New hospitals in Apalit, Bacolor, San Luis, and Arayat are part of this expansion. These projects form a wider strategy to strengthen medical access and reduce the strain on patients and their families.
The distribution of rice and the hospital projects mark concrete steps in Pampanga’s healthcare push. Dialysis patients now have immediate relief, while long-term infrastructure work continues. The province aims to cut kidney disease rates through both treatment support and prevention efforts.
