New paramedic-obstetric station opens in rural Krasnodar Territory
A new paramedic-obstetric station has opened in the village of Shcherbinovskoye, bringing essential healthcare closer to rural residents. The facility is part of Krasnodar Territory’s ongoing efforts to improve medical access in remote areas under the state programme Healthcare Expansion. The station will serve 420 local residents, including more than 70 children. It offers routine and emergency care, preventive check-ups, medical examinations, and vaccinations. The building meets all sanitary standards and is equipped with the necessary medical tools.
This project aligns with the national initiative *Long and Active Life*, which aims to enhance healthcare quality in underserved regions. Irina Vyazovskaya, First Deputy Minister of Health for Krasnodar Territory, emphasised the goal of creating comfortable conditions for delivering reliable medical services in distant communities. In 2025, 14 similar paramedic-obstetric stations were constructed, with licensing and official openings planned for 2026. Additionally, four general practitioner offices are set to become operational next year, further expanding access to specialised care across Kuban’s rural districts.
The new station in Shcherbinovskoye marks a step in reducing healthcare disparities between urban and rural areas. With more facilities scheduled to open, residents in remote parts of Krasnodar Territory will soon have improved access to medical support.
