Mass health screenings uncover 1,500+ chronic diseases in 2025 regional drive
Artemyovsk Central District Hospital carried out extensive health screenings in 2025 as part of the national project Long and Active Life. Over 17,000 residents received medical check-ups, with more than 3,000 undergoing preventive assessments. The initiative aimed to detect early signs of illness and promote long-term wellbeing.
Mobile medical teams played a key role in the campaign. They visited 35 villages, workplaces, and community centers, screening over 1,000 people during outreach trips. These dispensary examinations helped identify health risks in areas with limited access to regular healthcare.
The screenings uncovered a range of conditions. Circulatory system disorders topped the list with 804 cases, followed by malignant tumors and respiratory or digestive diseases. In total, doctors diagnosed more than 1,500 chronic non-communicable diseases through the program. Preventive check-ups and adult dispensary screenings formed the core of the project's efforts. By focusing on early detection, the hospital aimed to reduce the burden of long-term illnesses on the community.
The 2025 health drive provided thousands with critical medical evaluations. Early detection of chronic diseases allows for timely treatment and better health management. The project continues to support the region's long-term healthcare goals.
