Lucille A. Davis, a long-time resident of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has passed away peacefully at the age of 97. Born Lucille Alansky in Mahanoy City to Lithuanian immigrant parents, she lived a life marked by devotion to family, ancestry, career, and faith.

Her funeral will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Lancaster, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

Lucille was born on September 20th, 1928, the youngest child of George and Anna Radauskas Alansky. She grew up in Mahanoy City before building a life in Lancaster.

On July 4th, 1950, she married Thomas (Hank) Davis, and the couple shared 69 years together. Lucille also pursued a successful 38-year career at RCA, eventually becoming an Engineering Technician.

An avid traveller, she and her husband explored many countries, including a meaningful trip to Lithuania, the homeland of her parents. Throughout her life, she remained a devoted parishioner at Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.

Lucille passed away on January 21st, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, January 29th, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Interment will follow the next day at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Trillium Place Benevolent Fund.

Lucille’s legacy includes a long marriage, a distinguished career, and a deep commitment to her faith. Her funeral and burial will honour a life well-lived, with opportunities for loved ones to contribute to a cause close to her family’s heart.
