Krasnodar Territory boosts preventive care with new health initiatives

During the session, participants discussed efforts to improve public health, preventive care, and the modernization of health centers.

Vorobyova emphasized the importance of increasing life expectancy, maintaining good health, and seeking timely medical assistance, including regular check-ups. Since the beginning of the year, over 25,000 people have undergone examinations at public health and medical prevention centers across the region. The Krasnodar Territory currently operates 12 such centers for adults and seven for children.

The meeting also addressed the role of culture in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. The deputy head of Kuban stressed that raising awareness about health and fostering a responsible attitude toward personal well-being remains a priority for the region's social sector and demographic policy, according to the administration's press service.
