Free medical mission for Filipino workers set for October 2025 in Kuwait

A two-day medical mission for Filipino workers in Kuwait will take place on October 24 and 31, 2025. Organised by the Hakbang ng Maisug International Kuwait Chapter, the event will offer free healthcare services in partnership with Salmiya Clinic. The initiative aims to support as many Filipinos as possible while fostering community connections abroad.

The medical mission will run from 8 am to 1 pm at Salmiya Clinic, located along Baghdad Street in Salmiya. Free services will include OB-Gyne consultations, eye examinations, and dental check-ups. Participants will also receive discounts on additional medical treatments available at the clinic.

Salmiya Clinic, established in 2024, specialises in fields such as endocrinology, pediatrics, internal medicine, radiology, general medicine, and gynaecology. The clinic regularly engages in community-focused medical missions across Kuwait, serving diverse groups. Kiko Olpindo, president of Maisug, thanked Salmiya Clinic for their collaboration. The organisation has encouraged all Filipinos in Kuwait to attend, highlighting the event as both a health initiative and a chance to build solidarity among overseas workers.

The mission provides essential healthcare access while strengthening bonds within the Filipino community. Free consultations and discounted services will be available during the two scheduled days. Organisers hope the event will ease some of the challenges faced by workers living far from home.
