Three people were taken to hospital after suffering carbon monoxide poisoning in Alsdorf near Aachen. The incident happened on Sunday evening inside an apartment in the Kellersberg area. A charcoal grill caused the poisoning. A 32-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were seriously injured and placed under hospital observation. Their condition required immediate medical attention. A 67-year-old woman also fell ill but sustained only minor injuries. The exact cause of the poisoning was traced back to the grill. The two seriously injured victims remain under medical supervision. The third person, with lighter injuries, received treatment before being discharged. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, though no further details have been released.
